Wave6 is growing and building a world-class boutique system integrator and is looking for a sales leader to lead our sales team as we continue to expand our client base and Salesforce footprint. The right candidate will have experience managing multi-tiered sales teams – inside and outside sales – and be accountable for bookings goals. This is a player/coach position: everyone on the sales team at Wave6 has a quota and everyone sells. We need a player/coach who thrives on  managing and coaching salespeople while also taking on large-scale and complex sales cycles at enterprise-level customers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel coverage and management: Plan and run the ground game with channel to drive new opportunities and build and maintain relationships with Salesforce sales reps, leadership and key influencers. 

  • Accountable for Forecast and Pipeline management and sales process management across the sales team 

  • Solution selling coaching: Coach the team to identify and understand the needs of our current and prospective clients and shape solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet those needs 

  • For strategic accounts, provide ongoing support and executive sponsorship to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional sales opportunities while building and maintaining relationships with key executives and decision makers 

  • Help shape marketing plans with the marketing team to create additional sales opportunities for the sales team 

Must Have Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience leading sales teams and meeting bookings and pipeline generation goals 

  • 7+ years of experience in sales and/or account management in the software services consulting arena that include: 

    • Experience selling Salesforce.com consulting and integration services  

    • Proven and consistent track record of exceeding quotas consisting of annual sales and revenue objectives 

    • Deep knowledge of CRM (preferably Salesforce.com) implementation services/solutions 

    • Established relationships with C-level clients 



  • Candidate should be willing to travel up to 25% of the time 

Preferred Skills:

  • A combination of 10+ years of consulting, sales, marketing and business development experience 

  • A proven and consistent track record selling to Fortune 500 companies 

  • Experience selling Salesforce.com services or other SaaS-based platform services 

  • Knowledge/understanding of software development lifecycles, CRM business processes and enterprise technologies 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
